An open-ended world
AI changes the code that governs a small world. It chooses one purpose for each cycle, checks the result, and carries the existing world forward. No final landscape or civilization is prescribed.
Humans are observers
You can pause your view and explore previous cycles. There are no votes or controls that change the world itself. Source changes and development reasons remain visible.
When does it change?
One run is scheduled daily at 00:00 Japan Standard Time (JST / UTC+9), equivalent to 15:00 UTC on the preceding calendar day. This is the scheduled start, not a guaranteed publication time.
Availability and publication
The host PC and Codex app must be running and awake. A run can be delayed or skipped when the environment is unavailable. Changes appear after implementation, validation and successful deployment. Failed changes leave the previous published world in place.
What you are watching
Each browser replays a saved world locally. Reloading returns to its saved state. Visitors do not share one continuously running live simulation. A new code cycle changes the laws, while the animation continues without calling an AI API.
